Micro & Small Business
Development Services

Whether you are launching or expanding your business, you will need technical help to get it done.

We offer a relationship-based, process-driven continuum of technical services that moves an entrepreneur from a dream to an actual business entity through the use of technology. We see business ownership as a source of social change within families and across communities. We strive to be a technology catalyst for all entrepreneurs, a support network for small businesses, and a driver of the local economy.

We start with exploring your business idea and map your vision. From the business vision map we can mutually determine the best technology with the most impact on business growth. This will allow you to focus more on your business and less with dealing with the actual technology behind it all.

What Is a Micro Business?

A micro business, or micro enterprises (by definition), is a business that employs fewer than 5 people, most often on a part-time basis or loose association of independent contractors/freelancers. Odds are, you know someone who is running a micro business or are thinking of starting one yourself.

Micro businesses are light in structure and expenses. Without enormous inventories, payroll burdens or equipment, a micro business can be off and running in a matter of days and change directions just as quickly if the market dictates. RealTechs can find the right technology to both meets the changing demands of micro business along with working within small budgets.

What is a Small Business?

A small business is a business that is privately owned and operated, with a small number of employees and relatively low volume of sales. Small businesses are normally privately owned corporations, partnerships, or sole proprietorships. The legal definition of "small" varies historically, by country and by industry, but generally has fewer than 100 employees in the United States and under 50 employees in the European Union.

Many small businesses have already established their idea, product and/or service, their general market and overall business activities and practices and have some technology already in place to help them with their current business. RealTechs works together with this small business to expand into newer and larger markets with newer ways of reaching those markets with the use of technology.

Concurrently, RealTechs does a business system analysis on a small business to see where technology is underutilized, not utilized properly, where it is duplicated and where technology needs to be added and new technological practices need to be put in place to help drive business growth and streamline overall processes.

Both micro enterprises and small businesses are especially suited for the online world. With RealTechs simple, yet effective built websites, digital product delivery and secure ways to get paid, not to mention potential to reach an almost unlimited number of people, the internet should be at least one way you market your business.

According to the CIA World Fact Book, 223 million Americans (that's about 74% of us) now have web access. If you add the rest of the world, that number shoots to 805 million. By next year, they estimate 2 billion people worldwide will be on-line (shopping at YOUR site?).

With that many people on-line and a good percentage all trying to sell something to someone, the web is also very crowded and getting many more newcomers everyday. Getting traffic to your site can be a real challenge, RealTechs can help with traffic generation and search engine optimization, and this should be a priority.
